2 years ago could easily score 5-8gb for 30 bucks. Now everything is 45-$50 a month for stupid amounts of data. Its very hard to find a cheap and practical plan in Canada now without useless device financing. 90% of the month I'm on wifi anyways.

Hello, I am currently on a company plan with the company I work with. I don't know how much they pay or what the plan is. I am looking at moving out of the company and transfer my number elsewhere. I am looking for suggestions as far as plans go as after 20 year this would be the first time I would ...

Apologies, I'm out of the loop on this and I'm sure this topic has been re-hashed many times, but what's up with mobile plans in Canada? 2 years ago I broke the screen on my Galaxy S8 and while in Costco I just casually asked the kiosk dude if they fixed them. A few hours later I had 2 new mid-range...

My location has no internet service providers, via cable, DSL or fibre, therefore LTE Cellular is my only option. Fixed wireless with Xplornet was a disaster. I am currently on a Rogers/Bell/Telus Unlimited plan, which after 20GB is throttled down to 512kbs. It is usable for basic VoIP and some imag...

A while back, the best way to get to retentions was to call to set a "disconnect date" for 3 weeks in the future or so. The retentions would call you within that time. I just tried that on Fido, and they said they don't do that anymore. Cancellation is immediate. If I want to port to anoth...

... city. I recently read this article https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/wireless-cellphone-fees-1.5484080 about how expensive data plans are on our cell phone plans in Canada and how the government has given them 2 years to reduce the cost. The prices quoted in the article looked like: -2 GB plans ...

Hello, I am curious to know what the normal prices for back-to-school cell phone plans go for?I have Fido which is currently offering me 4 GB for $45 but I would rather stick to the $40 price plan. I am not sure if they even do $40 plans anymore. Thanks.

AT&T and T-Mobile have some great prepaid plans that include roaming in Canada/Mexico for $40-75 a month (depending on the carrier) with 6GB or more and unlimited talk and text. Does anyone here happen to use one of those plans and primarily reside in Canada? I'm moving to the US but will be bac...

I have been vacationing in the states for 2 months for the past few years. last year i used the Rogers roam like home feature which made things more affordable (max $50 month), but i still think getting a US cell phone plan is cheaper.
