    Saw this on the Chatr website, they upped the maximum price to $55. They removed US Calling on the $50 plan and moved it to the new $55 plan. The data and other features remain the same. How likely is Lucky and Public Mobile going to follow?

    I just used up 100% of my 3G data on Chatr and wanted to share my Speedtest results with you RFDer’s. It seems to be quite variable speed but it was slow, almost unusable but better than nothing, IMO!

  • Chatr throttled speeds after data cap?

    Anyone have any accurate info about Chatr's throttled data after you go over the 3G speed cap? The website says 64 Kbps but some people report it goes up to 128 Kbps in real world speeds...... Is this true? I may try to burn through my cap before my anniversary date.

  • Chatr Promo $40 & $50.

    Chatr has updated their promos. $40 gets you 3 GB and $50 gets you 6 GB (500 MB bonus if you sign up for auto-pay.) Total 3.5 GB and 6.5 GB with auto-pay). Not as good as the other 3rd tier carriers (Lucky and Public) but reasonable enough, IMO.
