    ... converting from cad to usd. Interactive Brokers says they do not charge anything ...for example if I buy $29,000 of US stocks...I just pay with currency exchange rate? No dings $$?? True? I'd appreciate any comments from IB traders..thanks

    What do guys usually do to exchange CAD to foreign currency of the destination?Do you first buy USD in Canada and then change to foreign currency when you arrive at destination? Or do you carry CaD and change directly to destination country currency?

    I want to offer my US customers to pay me by ACH. Can they do it to my canadian bank account (US currency)? Or I have to open a USA based business account?
