Does lack of DRAM affect SSD longevity?
... SATA SSD for data storage. It won't be a boot drive and speeds are not important. So, I am looking at cheaper SSD drives that usually don't have DRAM. I wonder if it has any effect on drive's longevity/reliability. It seems to me that it shouldn't. What is the general opinion on WD Green SATA ...

Pretty hard to argue with this one if you are looking for RAM at the moment. 16gb (2 x 8gb), 3600 with decent timings (16-18-18-38). No personal experience but my understanding is that it overclocks pretty easily. Ships and sold by Amazon.All time low according to Camel
