Bathroom sink leak - drywall damaged
... I’m a bit hesitant. From the pictures, what do I need to do to fix this plumbing? Do I need to buy a seal? Plumbers putty? Something else? The drywall is a whole other issue to sort out later. I’d like to avoid further water issues and get this sink up and running again

What should I use to seal gap between concete floor (unfinished basement) and botton of drywall
... who made the installation says it's most likely because there's air leaking from my basement from the gap between my concrete floor and the drywall. I'm sceptical but I've already a few thousands invested in this system so I might as well try to seal those gaps all around my unfinished basement. ...

Need Advice on Patching Drywall
Hello. I am in need for some help. I made holes in the wrong space with my 1/2inch drill bit and I want to patch it up. Should I just fill it in with conventional weight mud followed by lightweight mud on the top coat or just use Dap DryDex and fill it in with just DryDex spackle? Thank you

Drywall on brick fireplace (already partially drywalled?)
From a previous thread, I removed the brick hearth and now need the rest of the brick to be drywalled. I called a few places and they said they don't do this type of work. Who should I be calling? I don't know exactly how it's framed out, but I figure they can just glue/screw ...

Finishing an exposed drywall edge butting up against wood stairs
Wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I can finish the edge of this drywall? It does look as though the drywall could go right under the lip and I could caulk it but it would be preferable not to do that. I took off some wood scalloped and just want a clean edge. Thanks!

If I can only use 1 inch drywall screws should I glue as well?
... The outside walls are concrete block with 1”x2” furring from the previous tenant. They had 50 year old paneling. So I figure I can only use 1 inch drywall screws (1/2” into drywall and 1/2” into the wood) since I don’t want to hit the block underneath. Do I need to add glue or maybe iust more screws? ...
