My car is currently coming to the end of its lease and I plan on buying it out. Any tips on avoiding documentation ($499), OMVIC or the licensing fees?Has anyone ever dealt direct with Nissan Finance Canada and processed the buy out via the website? Did that reduce any fees? Thanks in advance!

My tenant gave me notice to end the lease which was on a month to month basis on Nov 14. The law requires 60 days notice, a written form with signature and indication of the termination date which must fall on the last day of a rental period. In this case Jan 31, 2022 would've been the earliest term...

Hi folks, Given the situation we are currently in (low inventory of cars available), I am hearing that it may be more beneficial to buy out my leased vehicle at the end of my lease, rather than simply returning it because used vehicle values have gone up - and I’ve built equity. My lease with VW is ...
