How much does it roughly cost to renovate the front exterior of a house?
I know it can vary by large sums, but roughly are we talking $15-$20k or closer to $50-$80k? I have a back split bungalow from the 70's....would like to "modernize" the front....interior has already been gutted and fully renovated 4 years ago. Something similar to this...the sides/back of the house ...

Exterior caulking contractor - any tips?
Hello, have a two storey home here in Burlington, Ontario with almost all windows needing re-caulking, 7 windows on 2nd floor and 8 on first. I previously got quites in 1500 range. Anyone here with tips on good contractors for this type of work?

Exterior tap leak - Repair advice
I noticed today after having just turned my outside taps on yesterday that one was leaking. I know nothing about plumbing so I don't know what parts I require to fix the tap. Any advice based on the photo I have attached showing where the leak is occurring ?

Which of these brands of exterior stain would you go with?
Been looking around Home Depot, Canadian Tire, Reno/Rona, and according to the user reviews, these are the one that are above average: Cabot, Thompson, Behr, Premier Active.Which one would you go with? Would rather buy one that I can buy in store now rather online.

Is it normal that the exterior wall does not have fiberglass insulation ?
... room wall happened to be bumped into a hole. Surprisingly, I found out there is NO fiberglass insulation in it and the drywall is just next to an exterior wall. Please see the attached photo. This is a 2017 new house. Is this normal or should I complain to the builder. Thanks.

Issue with studs and exterior walls
... House built in 2011 semi detached. I have a good stud finder that works great on any interior walls. The issue is it will not find any stud on any exterior wall due to the studs being recessed and not flush with the drywall If that makes sense. I'm tired of measuring and then drilling in 3 or 4 ...
