First time looking for a family friendly resort. With a kid around 10, what make a resort great to stay and what is the recommendation? There are so many to choose from at various place but don't know where to start looking. Any help would be appreciated.

Best/Simplest way to get USD ahead of family vacation
I'm sure the best way to exchange CAD to USD is likely online, but I'm also looking for simplicity. I'm just looking to get somewhere between $500 and $1000 in USD ahead of a small family trip to the US. What are some suggestions for easy conversion? I'm guessing exchange rate places are the worst.....
