Is this outdoor wood furniture teak or something else?
I want to apply a finish, oil of some sort but I'm not sure what type of wood this is. It's not a soft wood like cedar and has weathered a bit while being 95% sheltered under a porch. Where do you buy your furniture from?
Why is it so difficult to find a quality furniture store that isn't Ikea, Structube or Costco? I feel like big box furniture stores just carry the same few designs by different manufacturers. Just looking for a company that has something a bit more interesting and worth a modest price.
