Just got my Jan gas bill. WHOAAAA did that ever go up. Compared to last Jan, I used less gas and it cost me about 125 bucks more. Nothing we can do, just wanted to vent and see how it's impacting everyone else.The fact that I had to pay 43 dollars in HST is just further insult to injury. GAH!

Not sure what happened since we shut off the central heat (not furnace because of water heater) mid May. Not sure how an increase happens even... did we use more hot water maybe? I dunno. I figured at this time bills would stay the same or go even lower. Has anyone else had experiences like this?

I suppose furnace/water heater is using up gas to heat up water supply in taps.Is there a way to make the water supply less hot or simply warm? will that save me enbridge gas bill?I only need luke warm water supply in taps.My house is about 5 years old.
