When completing the NRRPR (HST Rebate), do both units have to be leased for a year in order to claim it? One of our units has rented, but both the other. We were hoping to file the paper work sooner rather than later. Just wondering if possible without the second unit leased yet. Cheers

Is filing HST rebate for rental property straight forward for someone who never filed themself before? My lawyer charges $400. if it's manageable, I would look into filing myself and save on this. Or is it worth just getting lawyer to do it, and claim the fee for tax deduction?

Hi,If a pre-construction condo is entering interim occupancy and you find a tenant that signs a 1 year lease (the lease will also run through interim occupancy). Will that still be applicable when applying for the HST rebate? Thanks in advance!
