I am planning to send some amount to India ($50,000). what is the best and safe way to send? The source of funds are from sale of a house in Canada and sending it to my own account to India. What are the legalities in future and what is the best way to send it?Any help is highly appreciated.

I have been considering getting an OCI card, which I am able to get via my spouse. We travel to India to see family every once in a while, and an OCI card can remove the hassle of getting the e-visa every time.OCI holders -- is there anything I should be aware of? Any reason not to get the card?
