Cost effective way to transfer from Questrade to Interactive Brokers
I have US listed ETFs in a margin account and some balance in USD -- I want to move all of this to my new IB account and carry on in USD. Is there a straight forward method to do this? Anyone know what the exercise/assignment fees are on CAN options ?Did send in a request but no answer so far. All I could find is this"Commissions are not charged for US exercise and assignment."

Is anyone using IB to trade options daily/weekly? I currently trade in my Scotia iTrade account but the commisions are killing me. Brokerages with no fee for Canadian option assignment, other than Interactive Brokers (Canada)?
I only deal with Canadian stocks and options. Is IB(Canada) the only Canadian broker with no fee charge when my option get assigned?

Interactive Brokers Trader Workstation - Computer operating system
The company site says that Win 8.1 is the minimum, but sometimes software will run on Win7 (or even older) although the company says 'if it doesn't work, tough luck,' and fair enough. Has anyone here successfully run TWS on Win7?Thank you.

TD DI to Interactive Brokers account transfer
Hi everyone,I have to do a TD DI to Interactive Brokers account transfer. The IB form requires an 10 digit ATON number while TD DI account number is 6 characters, letters and numbers.I am wondering if anyone has done a such transfer recently? Any directions / tips?TIA.

TD DI transfer to Interactive Brokers
Interactive Brokers requires a 10 digit ATON account number which is not the account number TD DI prints on the statments. Is the ATON account available somewhere on the online account or on any document TD migth have issued? TIA.

Interactive Brokers - How do I check the order type (limit, market, etc) of my previous trades?
How do I check the order type (limit, market, etc) of my previous trades in the Client Portal (web interface)? I tried going to statements to look at my trade activity but it doesn't say whether the trade was limit or market order.

Should I move to Interactive Brokers if I'm moving to the US soon? And investing questions
