Using scissor jacks that came with my vehicles as jack stands, good idea?
As title, I got myself a hydraulic floor jack and am wondering if it's safe enough to make use of the scissor jacks that came with my vehicles as jack stands (I have 2 scissor jacks).

Aside from we ordering, e.g. From primecables or Amazon, is there a place in Niagara that has things like this at a reasonable price?I've seen some around at home depot or similar, but super expensive.Just trying to do a few without getting soaked for like 5 a piece.

Floor jacks and jack stands
Anyone seen any deals? Looks like there was a 2.5 ton low profile jack at Princess Auto for $50 but they're all outta stock now.Found this Husky set at Home Depot which seems pretty decent. 3T jack, two stands, and a rolling stool for $80.

What to do with my phone lines?
Just moved into a home, built in the 70s. There are telephone jacks everywhere, and I have no intention of ever getting a home phone. What should I do with these? Nothing? Pull out the lines and patch the holes? Probably really old line, can I convert the to ethernet? Any other use for them?
