So right now the maximum contribution amount is $31000 for all the years in the past up until 2014. I'm wondering does that mean I can put up to $31000 in 2014 if I never put any in before? Or am I limited to only $5500 this year. It makes more sense that I can contribute more than $5500 this year, ...
