Been on the hunt for decent router deals, and missed out on the asus rt-ac66u b1 at staples. Found this today at the source. It's got decent reviews + beam forming and mu-mimo. I don't think you can flash it with dd wrt , though i'm not 100% sure. Also if you sign up for their emails you get 25 off....

Google Wifi or Linksys Velop?
Linksys Velop AC6600 is quite expensive, but supposedly provides the best performance when compared to Google Wifi. I'm assuming both devices support 802.11 AC over 2.4ghz and 5ghz right? In the real world, is the Velop significantly faster than Google Wifi?

... solid performer for a smaller space like a condo or apartment. I have the 3200 myself and I love it, even using just the stock firmware from Linksys (do not need all of the extra stuff from DD-WRT or similar). Edited to remove disallowed links to external price tracker
