Why are the Asian supermarkets the only ones who carry lobsters weighing more than 1.5 pounds?

Best Place for Live Lobsters in MIssissauga?
I see that Superstore has them for around $17/lb, and will steam them for you. Oceans is only $10/lb, but will they steam them for you?

best place to buy live lobsters in etobicoke/mississauga?
I live near 427/bloor. I went to Grant supermarket and they are about $10 a pound, but all of them have something wrong with them, one claw ect. Looking to buy just 3 1-1.5lbs lobsters this weekend. Any suggestions?

Buying lobsters at the supermarket - free steaming?
I saw lobsters on sale in the Superstore flyer and it said free steaming was available. I've seen this before but can anyone tell me how if works? Are you supposed to eat them right after you bring them home steamed or can you store them for a day in the fridge and then heat them up somehow?

Swiss law prohibits boiling live lobsters due to pain
I remember I made a thread a few years ago about the inhumane way lobsters are killed. Eventually RFD'ers thought differently, mainly thinking with their stomach's and not their brain's. But there is truth to lobsters suffering in agony from being boiled ...

Looking to get a few 2-3 lb lobsters for a special dinner coming up. Where is the best place? I know that the grant food mart has a small fish market in the back. How much should I be looking to pay per pound? I have never bought live lobsters ...
