long distance moving options
Hey I am moving from alberta to ontario in January and have 2 cars.Would it be better to drive them down myself and get a uhaul or pay some moving company to do this?I appreciate any solutions in advance.

How long does a HARDWIRED smoke alarm BACKUP battery last?
Searched Lowes/HD for hardwired smoke alarms. Looks like all models have battery backup. Now, if I have to change the batteries every year....doesn't that defeat the purpose of having hardwiring? Would Black Friday Refrigerators be back ordered for a long time?
A lot of the refrigerators I'm looking at now are very low on stock or back ordered severely. If there is even a sale on Black Friday, would they not put OOS items on sale? Looking at $1800-2000 French Doors probably GE.
