Is the thinking that one should withdraw funds from an RSP if you had low income for year?I know I'm going to pay at some point when I retire, but why not take it out now when I'm taxed at a very low rate and reinvest the funds.

The program may be called something else outside of Manitoba. Here they offer you financial assistance for rent if your income is low and you're over 55+. They don't usually care about any assets you have, unlike welfare. I was wondering if there are other provinces that also offer similar programs?...
