Please make this thread a sticky at the top . I found out the mother or father threads of individual college or university are " mixed " in the threads of topics so I want to create this thread as the springboard to each thread for each institution. Under the title of each thread and the ...

I have seen some adults talk about high school grades and a lot of them think that 80s are quite good and competitive. I remember someone saying a 84% cutoff seemed high to him. But as a recent high school grad, there's a big difference between what a lot of older people consider good grades and wha...

First off, as a CPA working at a Big 4 Accounting firm I do understand that College is not ideal for Accounting or any other business related field. That being said, selecting one the programs below is the only option for a family friend of mine. All of these programs are accredited by CPA and allow...
So I got a few tips from friends who's got Grade 12 or children in first year university. What are the usual programs that will have Early Acceptance or has this got more to do with the school? 1. I applied to Diagnostic Medical Sonography at St. Clair and did not receive an offer. I assume it's because my grades weren't high enough (aside from the competitiveness and apart from my HOAE test) so should I apply to the prehealth sciences 1 year program to hopefully boost my grades and then appl...
Hi Everyone! I have applied to Michener (Sept 2016 intake) for Cardiovascular Perfusion, Respiratory Therapy and Chiropody. My number one is CVP but i know they only accept 13-14 people per intake so it is highly competitive. I just thought I would post a forum to see if anyone else has applied, rec...

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had any advice on getting admitted an undergraduate university program as a "mature student" after failing out before. A brief background on my situation: Attended McMaster fresh out of high school for a general social sciences program (huge mistake). Re...
So I have a huge dilemma. I was supposed to be taking a test at Seneca today for my admissions, and the program got wait listed. They didn't even bother to call or e-mail me so I wasted 2 hours commuting. I have a couple options but I am unsure which route to go! Currently, I have been accepted by G...
I'll be applying to couple schools for Graphic Design for starting in September 2016 and I was hoping to get suggestions for GD schools (university/college) preferably in Ontario. I'm considering Humber, George Brown, York/Sheridan, and OCAD. I heard from someone I know that Humber is really good fo...
Hey everyone, I'm an 18 year old student taking my victory lap in high school. I was a kid that didn't really take school seriously till this year and didn't really achieve high marks. This year I ended up getting a 76 average, but didn't take math requisites to business programs. My original goal w...
I am extremely interested in the ultrasound program at Michener. I am curious however why Michener requires a bachelors degree while other schools like Cambrian do not. I will be getting my bachelor's degree next year
