I'm trying to get a basic pay as you go phone plan for my parents and I'm getting really confused. I remember a few years ago, it was common to pay $X and you'd get Y minutes and those minutes last until you use them up. There was no monthly ...

As the title says, I'm looking for a phone in the $100 to $200 range and a pay as you go plan. The person using this phone will use it for mainly texting, surfing the web and the occasional call/dta use. Can anyone chime in with a phone/plan recommendation? Right ...

Is it still an option to buy a block of minutes? My mother in law only uses her cell phone for voice, and then only rarely. It sits for months without use, then she might use 50 minutes in a month. No province to province or international roaming is required, Alberta Only. Auto top-up would be great...

Currently I use Fido. I make one or two phone calls per month, the rest of the time I'm just using small amounts of data. Between fido's $10/month for 100mb data plan and actual minutes used, I think I pay about $15 per month most months. Most months I don't come close to using up the 100 mb. I real...
