Tax on farm land purchase
If you purchase a farm in BC (no buildings on it, land only), do you have to pay 5% GST on the purchase? Is GST different if the purchase is by an individual vs a company? Other than the cost of the farm and properly transfer tax, are there any other costs associated with farm land purchase?
