What type of GIC rates are you seeing for corp accounts? I'm always seeing rates that are 1% less than personal GIC's. Not sure why corps don't get access to those rates. CIBC offered me 4.2% in December 2022. I was now offered 4.25% as of September 2023.

Current Canada 10 Year Government Bond is 3.691% while Fixed rates are 6.2%. Typically fixed rates are following the canadian government bond. What gives??
