How come people don't mind getting finessed over real estate?

Is Memory Express a real store?
... a 5900X from them a few days ago on backorder. I have tried emailing them twice so far for a rough ETA, but get absolutely no response. Is this a real, reputable retailer, or is this a scam site? Wondering if I should have my credit card company block the charge and look elsewhere.
