  • Are there any facilities that pay for scrap tires?

    I read on a webpage online that some facilities exist that give nominal amounts like $1-$5 per tire for scrapping them (but the website didn't list any facilities). Does anyone know of any that give a good rate?

    I bought a new car. what am I gonna do with my old car? It's a 2005 Chevy Malibu. It's my everyday car. A little bit oil leaking but runs perfectly, hits 130, 140 km/hr easily. Can't pass safety inspection due to oil leak, repair costs more then car volume. Appreciate any input.
