Looks like i can no longer use my pvr box with my cable for shaw. Now shaw is saying i need a new box that connects to the internet. Its free for a year then 100.00 a month for internet!? Are there any cable companies that let you use your own internet? ...

I'm a new customer just moving out and looking for a internet deal with either Telus or Shaw. Telus website is showing $100 for 940 mbps while Shaw is $100 for 300 mbps. Shaw however has $115 for 1 G.Any help would be appreciated if I could snipe a deal.

I see in the BlueCurve Home app that they enable linking to your Ecobee thermostat. Is there any point to this other than to give another interface to the thermostat on the BlueCurve app? Does the voice remote work with it?

Price goes to $250 after 24 mo. I dunno. Cue the downvotes I suppose, being an overpriced, Canadian telcom conglomerate service and all, but it seems like a half decent deal for at least 12 of those 24 months anyway.
