For ice skating, is there a diff between hockey skate and recreational?
Based on the sports Chek website, it looks like the brands to get are CCM or Bauer? Background: just looking for skates to go ice skating once in a while!

This is a sweet deal for those who sharpen skates often, or have multiple skates in the family. IMO they are trained to do a decent job, and $3 a sharpening is very good. Best part is that you don't have to pay at cashier, the service desk will check off the card for you.
