Slip-on crampon type of gripper. Not the super cheap ones, but of course not 'real' crampons. Never tried them before, so no idea if they're any good. Don't forget to clip the $5 coupon. Definitely the wrong time of year, but this shovel is cheap. Classified as a "snow pusher" so probably not great for more than a few inches of snow - but it's only $10.49 on Amazon.
