Are wool piles still useful? No longer sold at hardware stores

Stores that do wood cutting if you bring your own wood (not purchased from the store)?

My wife has been driving around to various garden centres (HD, Rona, Canadian Tire) trying to get her hands on some nasturtium plants to hang on the side of our house in preparation for a party this Saturday. Has anyone seen them in stores recently by any chance?
