I’m having a hard time determining whether my unit is subject to rent control requirements or now. We moved into a rental house in 2020 where it was previously occupied by the previous owner prior to it being sold to my current landlord. Would this be property be considered rent controlled?

So it seems that you can rent out your condos on Airbnb on a long term basis (more than 1 months and up to 6 months?) and the prices there carry a minimum 30% premium + other fees revenue. Do these stays subject to ontario tenant laws/ltb? If not, isn't this a loophole?
