How to avoid penalties from fido/rorgers when switching to another carrier 10 days before contract expire
My current FIDO contract expires in Dec 5th. If I want to catch this black friday's deal, I would need to switch to another carrier around Nov 25th, which is 10 days before the contract expire date. How to avoid any penalties? Is there a way I can join bell on Nov 25th and port the number on Dec 5th?

Goodman furnace with 2 stage heat, switching from 1 stage to 2 stage thermostat.
