GreenON thermostat - can I give that to a relative?
I got a ecobee thermostat through the GreenON program a few years ago. I might be able to upgrade to another thermostat for cheap. I thought maybe I can give the old ecobee to a relative. Is that ok?I see in the about/utility that still mentions something about greenon.

Do I leave the thermostat fan switch in Auto with a variable speed furnace?

Google Nest Thermostat keeps changing my temp
So my house is empty as I am away and it keeps dialing down the temp to 13C!!!I wanted at 17C fixed.How do I do that??? I have the current gen of Nest Thermostat.

I have old thermostat and now have to replace with Wifi thermostat which has c-wire. Can it be installed easily without major electrical work (adding another wire). ORShould i buy Wifi thermostat without c wire one?Thanks
