TFSA question about the stock market: How early can I buy for 2023 considering things settle in 2 days?
Can I buy tomorrow as it won't settle til the new year and will that be OK and be as if I put cash in in January? I worry the market will spike up in early January with all the capital loss selling in December.

Should insurance cover the cost to make sure things match during repairs?
... etc. If we can't find a matching replacement then should they be paying to replace the entire floor and other blinds and siding to make sure things match? Worried they will only pay to replace the bare minimum and everything will look off. Thanks
