Bought 1k worth o tiles and 2/8 pieces were broken. Called the company they said "sorry no can help"

local store sells these tiles that i like, but HD has the same tile but different brand. both are ceramic. local is $6/sqft vs homedepots $1.33 sqft.any pros and cons from buying from local vs HD other then price?

Having a hard time finding underlay for ceramic tiles for condo approval
... IIC 65 rating required for 6" slab. My contractor says that this is what is recommended and IIC 65 is more for floating wood floors not for tiles. I've seen other renovations in our condo that did tile and property management are not willing to share what underlay they used for approval. ...

Is it safe to drill holes in bathroom tiles to mount a shelf?
I have a hammer drill and impact driver set and need to mount some small soap shelves on tiles.Please suggest me some safe tips or techniques how to properly drill into tiles as I've never done before. Also which type of bit to use

Find replacement ceramic tiles for house built 15 years ago
As per title, some tiles are broken. Is it even possible to find and buy new matching replacement ceramic tiles to replace them?If not, i guess patching it up or replacing the entire flooring would be the only option?

Question to professional bathroom installers:Is it true that the cost to install or labor requirement is varied between 12x24 tiles vs 24x24 tiles? My contractor is telling me that I will pay more if I go with 24x24 tiles. I supply my own tiles.
