Lowes has a good clearance price on the Mr. Christmas Train Around the Tree decoration. I have the Home Accents one from Homedepot - however the track on this one is larger (35" diameter vs 42"). Seems to be good value on a 3.75foot cat tree. I don't have a ton of experience on cat tree's but seems like well reviewed.

There is a large maple tree on my front yard. Over the years, the leaves have started to grow these strange black spots on the leaves. I'm going to call the City to make a final determination if the tree is diseased but wanted to get the RFD crowds quick opinion on the matter.

Not sure if there are any Japanese maple pros here, but we have a coral bark Japanese maple which seems to be getting worse this season. This is the second or third year of us having it. I attached a picture. The upper half of it seems to be dying or drying out. I water it every 3-4 days.
