Just heard on the radio (Ottawa) that Zellers is closing for good now. Happy hunting (don't even know what kind of merchandise they sell, if anyone gives it a visit, please, report back)

If you live near the area, can you tell me if this location has now since closed? I've checked different sources online and some tell me this store is still open, some tell me its closed. I prefer finding out before heading out tomorrow as it's in a distant corner of the city and I'm taking transit....

The first year without Target in Canada
... Been going to the Source, but stock tends to be all over the place. TRU sales have been rare too. Do others also feel that the loss of Target and Zellers have left a hole in the retail market that hasn't been filled yet?
