Wow great offer. Sucks that Canadian banks don't seem to care about existing clients, power of a monopolized field :(

Which category to choose to get 2% cash back with Costco?
No need to type thank you; upvote=thanks.

be careful with this bank, a 1025$ dissapeared form mi account and when I call them they just told me "we are not able to locate your funds" now I have to wait 4-6 weeks for then to figure it out, their phone line offers the worst service ever, they always put you on hold for 30 mins. this is bank to just keep few bucks but do no put your savings in this bank.

I've never had any funds disappear in my account. Were you trying to transfer $1025 to another account?

no I deposited the money then suddenly it disappeared from my account I called tangerine line and they just said " we are not able to find your funds" they asked me what atm I used and them they said they will look into that and call me back in two days but they never called me, I been calling them several times and their representatives are not helpful, and guess what happens they email me to let me know that they are getting rid off the atm that stole my money but They still haven't put my money into my account, what a SCAM! BE CAREFUL if you are deciding to switch to this bank.

Does the credit take a hit when closing bank accounts? I have a Tagnerine now, but wanted to close it. And in 6-9 months churn and open another way if theres a bonus.

I just got the world card with 4% back two categories, $85 GCR got the promos real quick after approval, this seems slightly better if stacked with GCR but I have a feeling Tangerine isn't a churn friendly CC ....

I believe so. There is no mention of "new customer only" so should work.

What is the best way to spend money? I normally get gas and groceries from Costco.

Find a Mrs2711. . How to not spend $5000 a month becomes the question.
