If you find a bank that will give you 2.75% monthly rate in Canada, let me know too.

You mean 2.75% monthly? You know that's 33% annual interest rate right?

so if i already had money in my savings account when i got this offer, i can move it to my chequing account and then move it back to savings or tfsa and it'll be "new" and get the new 2.75% rate?

They take a snapshot of the $$ ampunt across all your eligible accounts prior to giving you the offer. So that money will not be "new" money

Although the Manulife offer is tops, Motive Financial at 2.80% is still your next best bet. No begging required and so far, no expiry mentioned.

I haven't received a new rate since July. Any thoughts on when a new one may appear?
