Obviously YMMV since it’s targeted

FYI the targeted email offered me 2.5% last month from November 5, 2019 to April 30, 2020 . I accepted it because why not, but the 3.3% at B2B is where I have most of my cash.

This is a joke. I've always called in and asked them to renew my old promo and they have always done. 2.5 or 2.75%. It also helps to have alot of money to threaten to move out of the bank with if they don't.

I got the targeted 2.5% as well. But my money is with Simplii @ 2.8%.

Try harder, Scotiabank.

I'm a relatively new customer of Tangerine (already hate them) and when my first 2.75% for six months ran out, I called twice, they both refused. I jumped ship to Simplii 2.8%, can't be happier.

Tangerine got greedy, motive offers 2.8%, b2b offers 3.3%
Time to move on.

Don't they all have six month promo periods?...

I mean I already had a Simplii Chequing account and I heard Motive and B2B is a pain to open an account, so why do that when all I have to do is make a quick phone call to Simplii and my Simplii Savings is set up? I'm also not eligible for the Tangerine promo, just checked my account.

I have opened both Motive and B2B, no pain.

B2B no pain in opening? Well, just wait till you start using it.

I have linked two my checking accounts, and transferred some of my cad from 2.3% and 2.8% HISAs to 3.3% in b2b.
Not sure what do you mean, by “start using it.“
