Is there a limit to the amount you can deposit?

Edit: Max of $1,000,000 according to their site

There is a $200 bonus if you create a chequing account as well. But you need to setup 2 pre-authorized payments at least $50 each.
Anyone know if i setup a payee on tangerine and set it up to automatically pay lightspeed internet, would that count for pre-authorized payment?
Lightspeed only does it through credit cart apparently not bank account.

Existing customer - I called and was given 2.5% until June 30. Better than nothing.

It is nice that they are offering rates without having to move $ around prior (not on new balances).

There is no link to the promo deal in the OP or elsewhere in this thread.

Found this:

https://www.tangerine.ca/en/landing-pag ... orCarousel

Now that DUCA won't give 3% for deposits anymore, have to find somewhere else to park some cash. This is perfect timing.

This is encouraging. I sure hope I'll be able to get some sort of extension on my 2.5% ending on May 31st.

Hate that it's not new savings account as I just got a debit account with them. No other accounts.

Sweet. I just missed out on the 6 month GIC for 2.8% but this is a much better deal since my money isn’t locked. Just moved most of my emergency fund right into a TFSA. I’m assuming that we can’t double dip the 2.8% + investing it into a 6 month GIC at 2.2% correct?
