TIP: Use an address in a state that doesn't charge Sales Tax.

They just send you a code that you redeem in your eshop on your switch. Make sure you select the right account (if you have multiple) before you redeem. If you currently have an active family plan, it will just extend it by a year. Max you can have extended to is 3 years. The code itself doesn't expire so you can buy and redeem later on. Hope this helps
