Target redcard?

i tried searching but couldn't find anything recent. does anyone know if Canadians can get a Target redcard still? seems like you could a long time ago if you applied instore. i don't have a SSN or even a US address if that matters.

Considering that the Target Redcard Debit card is offered by Target and Target doesn't operate in Canada anymore, no you can't get it in Canada. The Target Redcard MasterCard is offered by TD Bank USA, and if you don't already have US credit and address, you can't apply for credit in the States.

The debit red card agreement in the US simply says it must be linked to a US deposit account, so if you have a US bank account you may be able to get one. Then again, the debit card application asks for your SSN and US address, so that would be problematic.

thanks for your replies. was hoping for maybe some better news but at the end of the day, it is what it is.

i've read some scattered reports on other message boards about it being possible but it seems unlikely in 2022. next time i hop over to the US i'll probably ask about it instore. will report back one way or the other.

Definitely can't do it online, YMMV in store.
