[TD Bank] TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite - First-year Free + 30,000 points

Did a quick check and was surprised not to see this here already.

This offer is especially sweet for Quebec residents: first-year free, first purchase = 15,000 points, after 90 days you receive another 15,000 points.

For residents of other provinces (I only checked Ontario but assume the others are the same), you need to spend $1,000 on the card each month for the first three months to receive the full second $15,000.
"You earn 5 additional Aeroplan Miles on all Purchases, for the first 3 months up to a total spend of $1000 per month, up to a total of 15,000 Aeroplan Miles."
Example scenario where you spend $500/mo: 15,000 + 500 + 2500 + 500 + 2500 + 500 + 2500 = 24,000 free points.

Eligibility Requirements:
$60,000 personal or $100,000 household annual income

Applied and was approved instantly.

Does anyone know on the limitations on a product switch?

How long does it have to be if you got another offer (TD cash back) before you can switch and get this promo?

I'm not sure about the product switch - maybe someone savvier than me about TD CCs can answer that - but for your second question T&C just says you can't have applied for another account in the past six months. If you applied for a card six months ago + a day and canceled yesterday, you should still be fine.

That’s not true.
I did a product switch from TD first class to this in December.
The credit card number and expires date doesn’t even change, they just mail me a new plastic. The new card in effect the next AM (past 12) for points. Got my 15,000 and then another 5000 for $1000 spent

That's not too bad. Pretty manageable for most ppl.
Many fyf cards have 1500 or 3000 spend before bonus is earned.

As someone who's had it for over 5 years it's a good card. 30000 is about $150 in redeemable spend so I think the TD Aeroplan CC offers were better IMHO

Nvm thought this was the Visa Infinited tied to Expedia. Disregard

I hope you're joking. $1K spend for 3 months is the lowest and mickey mouse spending. That can't even cover 3 months of gas for two cars. :-)
Thanks for posting OP. Will apply for spouse.

This TD card is the best/fav. one for me/my wife in the last 4-5 years. Each round we churned, we yielded 120,000+ points total in the year. That funded our family trip of 4 to the east coast and saved us ~$2K each time.
My favorite card of all time.

It's 1k spend per month for 3 month so 3k total. All previous deals and most cards I believe (except higher end cards like amex plat) are 1k spend total for full bonus.

my bad/apologies - comprehensive reading is my weakest link.
That's only $1,000 spending per month - still way within reach for a family of 4 like ours. :-)
Thanks and cheers,

By far the best value with Aeroplan points is to use for travel. Unfortunately a lot of people don't know how to make the most of the system. Shoot me a PM if you want to discuss.

They just effectively tripled MSR for 30k Aeroplan. Previous Feb 2019 deal here (15k + 15k after $1k MSR within 3 months): td-bank-td-aeroplan-visa-infinite-card- ... k-2264814/

Pretty crappy compared to previous 30k Aeroplan deals, but still mostly achievable since it's actually 5 AP for every $1 .. so if you can't hit the full $1000/month x 3 months and hit instead $2000/month x 2 months, that's still 25k Aeroplan. And I imagine most people won't have huge problems getting at least 25k Aeroplan.
