Make sure anything like Flashblock or adblock is disabled. A lot of times there are extensions like that running that interfere with the application.

So are we all in agreement now - if you apply for both aeroplan and first class, and spend 1K on both, you will get the welcome bonuses for each card.

For those applying and looking at the 6 months requirement:

I last held this card sometime mid September 2018, I PS'd into the TD Rewards Visa ... does this requirement go off calendar month? Ie. does the 6 month requirement start for me on October 1st, or mid-September when I product swapped to the TD Rewards Visa?

On the TD page for the card, it says:
"IMPORTANT NOTICE: The changes to the value of TD Points for Book Any Way travel purchases are being postponed at this time. "

What does that mean? Does that mean that they've announced some devaluation but they're waiting for all of us to apply first before they devalue?

I have a question. [It sounds like a stupid question in my head]

Lets say I were to register and activate this credit card today.
I use the 80,000 points within the first 6 months for an Expedia flight.
The flight is in December.

I cancel the credit card 6 months afterwards.

Will I still receive Insurance from the credit card benefit when I travel or no?

Will the flight that I booked on Expedia be cancel if I cancel the credit card?

Thank you for answering!
:arrowd: It only takes a few seconds to "THUMBS UP" before leaving! Much Appreciated :)

During the time of your travel, your need to have an active credit card in order to get an insurance from credit card.

Expedia will not cancel your booking even if you cancel your credit card.

applied - pending approval. Already got the TD Aeroplan infinite (that was instant approval) so I'm surprised that this one is pending. Let's wait and see.

Customer support said we can’t apply for 2 cards to claim the bonuses. Is that true?

I can confirm that in order to receive the benefits of the promotion you can't have opened another TD Credit Card in the last 6 months. As a result, you'd only be eligible for the promotion of the first card you open.
