Did a quote with td for home and auto insurance and i received a $25 gift card, pick from amazon, indigo or esso. I cannot find the ad though. I had no idea the promo was active. Received the gift card through email from "UGO Mobile Solutions"

I was a TD insurance client through an affinity group. Checked rates through another affinity group and the TD home insurance rates were double what I could get elsewhere (should have checked years ago)

When looking for home insurance, same. Also just changed the car and dropped almost 50% (for more coverage).

I would love to cut half what I have to pay now, care to share more details?

Sonnet.

Some reviews are mixed (like most insurance) about rates increasing drastically but mine were stable so far.

Have not had to make a claim with them; it was no fun with two other companies for two different claims (not at fault).

When I combined car and home, they automatically dropped my combined rate without any action on my part. Just received an extra emailed with the reduced combined rate.

TD Home Insurance (Primmum I think it's called) was considerably cheaper than other home insurance quotes I have received.
PSAs
------------------
-Read store exceptions before combining discounts with cash back sites
-Stocktrack.ca and homedepot.ca do not show clearance pricing for HD even if the item is on clearance.

BC? That could explain some of it.

They do not use Primmum in ON (unless that is a very recent change)
