Ok saw a few of these here in Edmonton at lunch today, available in both white and black. Specs on the back say 5w.
Haven't posted a deal in a while and thought this is definitely worthy of a RFD post...

Bought one for the office at work to charge my S7 phone. Tested it out all afternoon and I have to say pretty impressed, charges fairly fast, altho there is a sweet spot as usual.

Have fun!?

It’s been posted before, works ok but this brand at dollarama usually makes products they stop after a while, hopefully this is different. I got one couple of days ago.

A reminder, it's 5 watts, no power supply, micro USB

Ahh cool got beaten to it, guess I missed that post. Yeah pretty surprising to see these wireless chargers at DR.

So if it's 5w that means it's 1A charging. Not super fast, but better than a 500mA charger at least.

Black model also available in Halifax - Park Lane mall! Works fine with my S8 (with a spigen case) but not very fast..

It claims to output 5V 1A but there is a much higher conversion loss with the wireless coils in your phone than with a wired charger. The effective power input to your phone is notably less than 5W due to the inefficiency of wireless charging. I don't recommend it.

5w is enough for a "bed" charger. But do not buy this if you want to charge and go

I don't think this one is Qi certified.

"Products using the Qi standard must be tested rigorously to help ensure safety, interoperability and energy efficiency. Only products that have passed the independent laboratory tests can use the Qi logo and are considered “Qi-certified”."
