Samsung S21 with 25 GB plan - $ 75.25 per month ($ 0 down) with bring it back discount + Pre-order gift until Feb 12

Retailer:
Telus EPP
$ 63.75 - $ 25 GB plan
+ $ 11.50 for S21 phone (includes $ 230 bring it back savings)
+ $ 45 One time activation fee

Bonus: Pre-order gift

Limited quantity - Purchase a Galaxy S21 device from January 14th – February 12th 2021 and receive an E-Voucher (redeemable on samsung.com/ca between January 14th and February 19th 2021) for a bonus specified below

Samsung Buds Live (Black – Model No SM-R180NZKAXAC; our regular price 199.99 CDN) and 1 Pack of Galaxy SmartTag ( Model No EI-T5300BBEGCA; our regular price $39.99) with the purchase of Galaxy S21.

This is Telus EPP website deal for me. It could be different for your organization. By the way, you shouldn't pay more than $ 45 in activation fee. I dealt with Hotwire Communications - Toronto. They shipped the SIM card free for me and gave me a free case for Samsung phone to compensate me for $ 45 fee.

Bring it back means giving the phone back at the end of the term or buying it out at the price... Right? What's the buyout price? Is it the $230?

Also, just to mention, every company had EPP 20GB plans for $50 quite a few times late last year. Just fyi.

I am not clear about buyout price. Something we should clarify from Telus. Compared to $ 50 plan, we will be paying $ 25.25 extra per month or $ 606 over 24 months contract.

Once you factor in the $230 at the end it makes buying the phone outright from Samsung (incl perkopolis and gs9 trade in) slightly better if you have the $50 BYOD or can get it at the moment. Biggest advantage is that if you went that way...no contract.

What you said is true, provided you have a phone with good trade-in value. You should also factor in extra money for your old phone.

I think the Samsung pre order deals right now also include galaxy buds and a smart tag

How so? Isn’t the starting cost of the phone normally $1130? Even factoring in the buyout and the extra monthly cost difference, you’re only up to $836.

I've never had Telus Mobility but I have a EPP discount for my Telus home services. If I added a line, would the epp automatically get applied?

With the perkopolis 10% and $300 (s9 and up) the checkout value is closer to $700. The OPs posted promo for smart cell epp in the gta includes a $100 Visa gift card as well and comes close but not quite.

Also with the Samsung direct pre-order you'll get the trade in value of the phone on top of the $300 but I didn't include that.

Here is my purchase from Samsung. Used perkopolis (10% which is $113). traded-in my broken s10+ worth $46 ($300 bonus trade-in offer). Cash back for the trade-in will be credited later, after i send the device with in 30 days of order. Free earbuds and smart tag with order. Free delivery. I used 0% financing and $0 processing fee for 24 months @$31 a month (ps:do not have to give the mobile back as with telus bring it back). I am currently using 20 gb for $50 telus EPP plan.

Will Samsung give $ 300 for your broken phone? When I checked trade-in value for my iphone X, it was $ 220 for a phone in good condition. But the trade-in value dropped down to only $ 40, when I chose the option saying that screen is cracked.

$300 trade-in bonus ( removed from purchase price) is on top of trade-in value for phone (which will be given as a cash back on virtual visa card if i am not wrong).

Trade-in bonus varies between phone models and brands. $300 is valid only for certain samsung phones starting samsung s9 and later.

Apple phones get $200 tradein bonus (removed from total price of phone) + trade-in value of the phone as cash back ($40 as you mentioned, in your case of broken iphone X).

Samsung reserves the right to charge the trade-in bonus in case you do not return your old iPhone after u received your new device.

Trade-in bonus varies, for a Iphone 7 the value is $82** and the bonus is $200 when getting the ultra. I'm not sure I would get anything but the ultra while the S20 lineup still exist.

Is S21 a better buy compared to S20?

S20 has QHD+ display
S21 has inferior FHD+ display

Samsung was hell bent on an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate across the range - and it was able to implement 10-120Hz at WQHD+ resolution, and 1,500 nits of brightness, on the Galaxy S21 Ultra, with a slight change to the organic material in the Dynamic AMOLED 2X display.

If you need high res go last year. This year is about how fast it can show you that image, or really, how fast it can change that image. WFH means people have huge high res displays at the ready for this phones expected 12 to 15 month lifespan

I just tried to do this and am getting $959 after trade in. Trading in samsung s10 which it gave a value of $188. Not sure how you got that end price.
Went through perkopolis as well. Will try it again later on my laptop.
