[Telus] Telus in store - $100 of iphone 5 accessories for $40

Telus is offering a pretty good bundle right now in their stores:

You can get a Case + screen protector + apple 30 pin to lightning adapter for $40. They are saying the regular price for all of those items is $100, so basically over 50% off.

Let me know if anyone else is seeing this.

I'm not sure I've ever seen any third party adapters being sold anywhere so I assume it's apple's. I haven't seen the deal myself though so can't say for sure.

If you were to buy on eBay instead...

Case: $1-$10
Screen protector: $1
30 pin adapter (3rd party): $4

That $40 deal just doesn't seem like a good deal anymore.

how do you know it's apple ? funny that they put the brand of everything else, even their stupid screen protector, yet - no name for the adapter.

You can get anything off of ebay cheaper if you go with crappy quality.

I bought my share of eBay cases and they all sucked. I'd rather spend 20 bucks from futureshop or bestbuy on a decent case than 5-10 dollars on a crappy ebay case.

Same goes for the screen protectors.

Because I've seen the product. Telus doesn't sell knock off Apple products.

Those $5 knock off cables don't work well so YMMV. My gf has already gone through 2 and they both stopped recognizing the phone after a while... Just be warned.

Scroll down to the Telus Mobility store links... it really wasn't that hard to confirm this.

Hey Guys, I just wanted to clarify, the cases eligible for this offer are only the Speck and Case-mate branded case.

You get a speck/Case-mate case, OEM Apple iPhone lightning to 30 pin adapter, and a Telus 2 pack screen protector for $40 + tax

if you intend to use the given case with the adapter, i know that the casemate pop case has a wide opening so it will work the adapter w/o taking it off. not sure about the other cases.

afaik no 3rd party adapters pass audio so that's a good reason to get it if you want to use an old dock. it's like getting the case and screen protector for $5 since the adapter is $35.
