I left to Rogers for their RPP 35gb plan, Telus wouldn't give me the $45/25gb plan when I got their winback call, only $55/20gb.

The fact that other people are getting it now solidifies the fact I am never giving my money to Telus or Koodo again. I'd rather pay the $50/20gb with Rogers than save the $60 a year on the winback and give money back to those greedy bastards.

At least Rogers has live chat immediately accessible and their reps are competent.

I just called that number right now and it goes to a Telus.

When I originally left Telus in Jan 2021, they called back with this same offer which I declined. This is the second time they offered it to me, which I accepted.

1-888-369-9826 Called them and said the number has changed. I guess they have new number.

You can try to sign up for a new line with telus, port out to freedom, port back into telus for this promo deal

I did Koodo > Freedom > Telus with relative ease.

They called me twice, months apart and gave up both times when I mentioned that I was on a $50/15 GB win-back plan with Fido. Do you have to port in your Freedom Mobile number to get the offer? I assumed it worked like the Rogers/Fido win-back offers that don't require porting in. They simply make a new account for you and you can keep/change the temp number or port in.

Yes it is possible. This happened to me when I left Koodo for a plan that I thought was better. They have a 30 day policy for people who regret their decision.

For me at the time, I left to Rogers for what I thought was a better deal. After they put the plan through they told me I couldn't get a bunch of the offers. I called back to Koodo and the guy port my number back and I had the same plan as before ($45 for 15gb +5gb free +$15 for 10gb add-on).

Is the $45/25GB the only offer the Winback team has, or do they have anything for the Peace of Mind Connect plans? Would consider porting back from Freedom if I could bring my cellular iPad and Apple Watch.

Hi Folks,
I’m on a $70/15gb Telus plan right now..been a customer since 1998...
Trying to understand the process...I port out my number to a prepaid Freedom $9 plan(which is the bare min/and sucks)...for how long exactly?
And then... I call into Telus (which #? Do we know?) and ask for this “winback promo”...
If I can’t get this promo from Telus....then what?
Who do I talk to? Or am I SOL...
TIA

Of course it works. 5G, LTE, 3G etc... They wouldn't limit their connection types.

I think they are asking because Rogers is running this exact same winback right now and the data plan they are offering with it is only 4G LTE.

That's a Rogers thing. None of Telus plans are ever limited to a certain network. You get whatever your phone is capable of.

$30/line for 25GB. It was worth the effort but my credit score took a big hit but that didn't bother me.
When I received the offer, I didn't need to move the other lines. Rep allowed me to sign up as many lines as I wanted. My line 2 was never on Koodo or Telus.
