But that's almost half of what I'm paying now.
Honestly like 30 seconds. Quickest call I have ever had with any company like this. Just said retentions when the automated robot lady asked who I wanted to talk to.

Already on Telus 300/300 with a home phone and PIK TV.....so I just called in and I get the below for $90/month +tax, plus $200 in bill credits

Internet 300/300 and Unlimited Data - $85
PIK TV and 5 channels - $5
Home Phone - $0
$200 in credits.

I could have taken a $50 bill credit and $150 pre-paid Via or an Apple TV but meh, give me $200 in bill credits.

So all in all, happy!

Currently have an old plan that is set to expire end of September after 2 years

You pick 15
Internet 150 with 1TB
PVR and 3 wireless boxes
$74 plus gst

Was just offered:
You pick 15
Internet 300 unlimited
PVR and 3 wireless boxes
$74 plus gst
2 year term

So basically offered faster internet for the exact same price.... Seems odd they offered it without me even really trying for anything better no?

Existing client.
Contract expiring next month.

I called and discussed about the Shaw Flash Sale and I was only to get the following:

Essential Plus 4 theme packs + 1 Premium (Netflix)
Internet 150 with unlimited data
1 PVR + 3 wireless 4K boxes
2 year contract
$80/month

Quite happy with the result. Just remember to be nice when you talk to them and make reasonable offers.

Good luck!

Construction contractors (like ATS or Ledcore) will install the fibre to the side of your house, ready to use when you decide to switch your service onto it.

If you're in a townhouse, it will probably get pulled to your garage. If its a new apartment with conduit, it will probably go to your front closet. In an older apartment with no condit, it will go over your front door.

The people doing it will be able to answer specific questions.

Looking for Fibre 300 on a 2 year contract for $70 or less a month. Possible? I assume $55 for Internet 300 is only possible in a bundle.

I just got off the phone (on hold for about 10 seconds before being connected) quoting a "flash sale" I see on Shaw's website and they matched instantly.

Fibre 300
Unlimited
$250 Bill Credit
$60/mo (effective $49.58/mo after bill credit)
2 Year Contract

Probably not the best deal out there, but I have zero interest in TV services, and I've been paying full price for Fibrew for the past 3 months since I've been too lazy to call in and haggle.

Lol this confused me as well. I ended up getting $110/mo and $400 credit for Internet 300, 4+1, and home phone. Thanks to everyone in this thread for sharing.

Hello all, I am in the market for a new internet connection. I have done some research regarding this and reached out to a few reps from both Shaw and Telus. So far, below are the deals I was offered

Telus - $60 for Purefibre Internet 150/150 for 2 years. Unlimited data included. Plus a $250 bill credit.

Shaw - Internet 300 for $55 per month, no contract and $50 bill credit.

Can you please help me with making a decision on which one to take or if you know any other reps or deals, please let me know and I will give them a try.
